“Death cannot stop true love. All it can do is delay it for a while.”
I know what hell is. It’s Walmart at 9:30 on a Tuesday night. At one of five open lanes surrounded by shrieking children. Someone save me…
Just played Left 4 Dead with my dad…not as bad as I was expecting. Although it’s hilarious to hear a former marine and current police officer saying “Wait, wait, I’m reloading!” and “Wait, where did you get that shotgun, I want that shotgun!”
Not to mention, “She has an AR? Where did she find an AR?”
The downside…plenty of friendly fire and no concept of GET IN THE SAFEROOM ALREADY!
I have a bad habit of starting things that I don’t finish. I have an entire folder on my computer full of stories and poems, and what might one day be a novel. You’d think that by now I would have learned to ignore the nagging little voice in my head telling me that this new idea deserves to be written down. The characters piping up and shouting at me to let them tell their story. But no, I don’t learn.I just wrote the beginning to a new story, something I hope to make into more than a few pages.
The point to this post though, is a question. If I posted what I just wrote, would anyone give me feedback? If you like it, I might be encouraged to keep working on it and tell the story on tumblr, updating weekly as often as I can manage. Just a thought.
(By the way, it’s sci-fi)

We’re knights of the Round Table, we dance whene’er we’re able. We do routines and chorus scenes with footwork impec-cable, We dine well here in Camelot, we eat ham and jam and Spam a lot! We’re knights of the Round Table, our shows are for-mi-dable. But many times we’re given rhymes that are quite un-sing-able, We’re opera mad in Camelot, we sing from the diaphragm a lot. In war we’re tough and able, Quite in-de-fa-ti-gable. Between our quests we sequin vests and impersonate Clark Gable. It’s a busy life in Camelot!

“You’re getting older, and you’ll see that life isn’t like your fairy tales. The world is a cruel place. And you’ll learn that, even if it hurts. Magic does not exist. Not for you, me, or anyone else.”
